The latest AP Poll Top 25 rankings were released after the conference championship games. Not only that, the final College Football Playoff rankings are set to be released!

Indiana took down Ohio State, Georgia did the same to Alabama and we might have our three best teams in the country. Don’t forget about Texas Tech dominating BYU and finishing 12-1 and as Big 12 champions!

We’ll let the playoff sort everyone out, so let’s dive into the latest AP Poll. We’ll start at the top!

Indiana tops the AP Poll and soon to be final CFP rankings, most likely. The Hoosiers beat Ohio State for the first time in 30 tries 13-10 to capture the Big Ten title.

With that, Curt Cignetti and crew are 13-0 and ready to make a run for a national championship. Dominating defense ruled the day, as well as some timely offense from Fernando Mendoza under center.

Georgia moves up the AP Poll with an SEC title over Alabama. The Bulldogs dominated this game from the get go and looked national title ready.

Gunner Stockton tossed three touchdowns and the defense didn’t allow a score until the fourth quarter. Good luck beating a peaking Kirby Smart team.

Ohio State might’ve been a little stunned, but we’ve been here before. Even if they dropped in the AP Poll, this is still a national championship caliber team.

Julian Sayin didn’t have his best game, tossing an early interception. But he made some good throws as well, and Bo Jackson ran the ball well. They just couldn’t score. We probably won’t see that again.

Texas Tech’s defense could carry them to a national championship. That’s how good the Red Raiders were on Saturday, winning the Big 12.

Joey McGuire and crew moved up the AP Poll a bit after forcing four turnovers and locking up a first round bye. Can Texas Tech make noise against the other big boys?

Oregon sat back and watched the chaos over the weekend while they rested up. Remember, the Ducks topped the AP Poll, and all polls, winning the Big Ten and going 13-0 last year.

But they lost immediately to Ohio State in the quarterfinals. How do they fare this time around by playing right away?

Remember Ole Miss? We do! Lane Kiffin to LSU drama aside, Pete Golding has this team playoff ready as they are firmly in the top 10 of the AP Poll.

It’s a matter of if they’ll get a home game in the first round. But don’t rule out this team making some noise in the bracket because, spoiler alert, it’s still a loaded roster.

Texas A&M finished the regular season 11-1 and sat back during conference championship weekend. But the AP Poll was still kind to them in the top 10.

Mike Elko and crew will wait and see if they get a home game or have to hit the road in the first round. Either way, they’re looking for a bounce back game after losing to Texas.

Oklahoma Sooners quarterback John Mateer (10) stands beside offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle after a college football game between the University of Oklahoma Sooners (OU) and the Missouri Tigers at Gaylord Family Ð Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman, Okla., on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025. Oklahoma won 17-6.

Oklahoma finished the regular season 10-2 and top 10 in the AP Poll ahead of the College Football Playoff. The Sooners own a big win over Alabama this year as well, despite losing to rival Texas.

But they kept winning when they weren’t supposed to. Despite his hand injury, QB John Mateer has guided this team to the bracket, more than likely. How far they go is anyone’s guess.

Notre Dame ended the regular season with 10 straight wins this season, but have losses to Texas A&M and Miami. Most have the Irish in the CFP, but some don’t. At least they’re in the top 10 of the AP Poll!

It’ll come down to what the committee thinks of head to head and how they shift some others at the bottom of the 12 teams in. Hold your breath everyone.

Miami is in the equation as well, and the AP Poll Top 10! The Hurricanes beat Notre Dame head to head and won 10 games, but have no ACC title.

So now it’s a matter of where they’ll be placed in the CFP rankings after an inactive weekend. It could be a bad weekend and Miami might be on the outside looking in again.
